Hey!
I have had such a fun weekend! I got to go to Kings Island, in Cincinnatti, and that was such a blast. I can't wait to go back and ride more rides.
I LOVE pierogies, and I found some great GF ones! They are made by : Contes pasta. Potato and onion flavor, no wheat or gluten printed clearly on the label..love it! You should give them a try, I got mine at Raisin Rack.
This week has been so fun, but it has also been suprisingly difficult for me. Even when I went to Kings Island, I realized the only things I could eat there were fries or ice cream. When I was at work at the mall, in the food court, I can only have a baked patato or white rice. For some reason I just found this week very difficult and a pain. It's been a year of this and it has truly been hard for me. I feel like I can no longer just go out for the day, I have to plan ahead and bring my own food. I was feeling sorry for myself, but I truly hate doing that. Things could be SO much worse, but this can be such a pain sometimes. I remembered back to my own hero, Nick Jonas. He said in a speech about Diabetes, " At first I thought why me?! But then I thought, why not me?" This just reminded me to stop feeling bad for myself and make a difference.
I cannot wait for the day when I order a burger and the waitress asks me if I would like it on wheat or GF bread. I believe that's possible and I hope that sites like mine can help raise awareness.
If you live in Ohio and want to walk in the annual walk this summer, check out the home page of my site and download the form!

Hi everyone. Graduation is around the corner, thank God
Today I went to a special luncheon for Project Mentor, a partnership with Nationwide employees and Big Brother Big Sister of Ohio and now many other companies, where were are assigned "mentees" in Columbus Public Schools. I have an adorable boy that I mentor, and I hope I am helping him, I know he is making me look at life differently. Today was a recognition luncheon at the convention center. Very cool to see Archie Griffin and Mayor Coleman in Person, and Jerry Jergenson, CEO of Nationwide. Its a great program, Im excited to have participated for 2 years now....I URGE more kids my age to help out........
Of course the rubber chicken was filled with breadcrumbs and cake was dessert, so needless to say I did not eat. Its times like that I feel bad for myself, but only for a second......look around, there is always something to make me feel better. For me, its tonights Amercican Idol, and the JONAS BROTHERS will be on!!!!!!!!!!
Hey everyone!
